While watching a new NBC television show, "Dog Eat Dog", I was amazed at one of the questions -– worth $25,000. While that's a ton of money, the question writer got caught up in some African mammal wizardry. The question was, "What shoe company is named after an African gazelle?" When contestants could not answer the question, the moderator gave the answer as "Reebok." While there are African antelopes named gemsbok and blesbok, there are none named Reebok.
Reminds me of the quiz questions Gene and Barry Wensel used to ask at the Professional Bowhunters Society meetings. In one of those questions, the Wensels indicated that there were African species named "Blue Leotards," and "kapoks." Add to those infamous creatures the newly discovered, highly prized, and fast running Reebok. Duh.
