Dan has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from East-ern Washington University, and a Master’s of Science degree in Human Performance from Cali-fornia University of Pennsylvania. He also is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), the gold standard for collegiate and professional strength coaches. Dan has trained with professional athletes at Athletes’ Perfor-mance in Tempe, Arizona, and Parisi Speed School in Fairlawn, New Jersey, centers where professional athletes learn to fine-tune athletic performance. Dan participates in trail runs, mountain bike races, and duathlons.
“My ultimate goal is never to get too tired to keep after a bull, too fatigued to hike to the next canyon, or too weak to climb safely into treestands day after day. I never want to lose motivation during a long wilderness hunt. This is why bowhunting is for me,” Dan said. “It requires dedication and discipline, and it rewards hard work.”
