Enter to Win Wasp’s Moose Hunt of a Lifetime!

If you’re anything like us, you’d jump at the chance to head up north for a moose excursion.

Just imagine the thrill of tracking down a big bull moose, getting within bow distance of the hulking behemoth before letting the arrow fly and praying to God the beast doesn’t charge you and make you its newest antler ornament. Your heart is pounding and your legs are trembling, adrenaline is pumping through your system as you come down from the high of bringing down the big boy.

Sounds plenty exciting, we know, and you could have the chance to live it. Courtesy of the folks over at Wasp Archery, the 2012 Hunt-of-a-Lifetime giveaway will send one grand prize winner to the wilds of British Columbia on moose hunt valued over $9,500. To enter, check out Wasp’s contest page. In the meantime, check out this video compilation of moose kill shots!

I would so badly love to go on a moose hunt like this. This would be my trip of a life time I just hope one day I get to go. The added advantage for me is that I would also get to hang out and visit with a large portion of my family that I have not seen in quite some time!!

Of all the creatures I could hunt with my bow, this is the biggest dream of them all! Moose has an inexplicable 'draw' to it that none of the others have. Nothing calls to a hunter like moose does! I'd love to be able to hunt one of these hulking beasts!!

I was to go on a moose hunt in September for about two weeks, having live in Alaska for 34 years and been three moose hunts with other people, it was something I would rather go to the lower 48 states and hunt and see other states then Alaska. We have moose in the yard all the time, so it's not a big deal. The place I was go to, the main person, if he takes 6/8 people there all will get their moose and last year he took a BIG BULL MOOSE 72" and other person I believe he took a 65" moose and the total cost was about two thousand dollars. My wife wanted me to go, but the states has it draw to see something different and still hunt some whitetail deer.

I have been part of the Vermont Moose lottery in Vermont for decades with no success. Finally hunted two years ago in New Foundland and it was the answer to my dreams. Great moose, rugged terrain and most of all great people. The Newfies (a label they bear with pride) are remarkable people and awesome woodsman. I went to hunt moose with a bow and came home with some very awesome new friends and a moose. Mornin Skipper.
