Introducing the New Bowtech Prodigy, Boss and Fanatic

You want options? Now you've got them thanks to the revolutionary PowerShift Technology introduced in BowTech's two newest hunting bows — the Prodigy and Boss. No matter if you're looking for maximum speed, top-notch power or an ultra-smooth draw cycle, both models give you "three bows in one."

With a quick and easy position switch of the cam-mounted PowerDisks, you can choose from Performance (maximum speed and power), Classic (smooth draw with power) or Comfort (effortless draw) in one rig. A bow press is not necessary to swap positions.

BowTech Prodigy

In addition to PowerShift Technology, the Prodigy weighs just 4.2 pounds, measures 32 inches from axle to axle, has a 7-inch brace height and an 80-percent effective let-off. It will send your arrows down the range at 343 fps, features a draw-length range of 25-30.5 inches and has draw weights of 50, 60 and 70 pounds.

Other features include the FLX-Guard cable-containment system for reduced torque, OverDrive Binary Cams for top-notch tuning and consistency, as well as many noise- and vibration-dampening accessories. The Prodigy comes standard in BlackOps and Mossy Oak Break-Up Country, and is also available in Realtree Xtra Green and Kryptek Highlander.

BowTech Boss

Thanks to PowerShift Technology, there are no longer any limitations for bowhunters with long draw lengths.

The Boss has a 36-inch axle-to-axle length that can unleash arrows at 333 fps. It weighs 4.6 pounds, features a 7-inch brace height and has an 80-percent letoff. The draw-length range runs from 26½-32 inches, and peak draw weights are set at 50, 60 and 70 pounds.

OverDrive Binary Cams are once again present, as well as the FLX-Guard to eliminate riser torque. Standard finish options are BlackOps and Mossy Oak Break-Up Country, but it is also available in Realtree Xtra Green and Kryptek Highlander.

BowTech Fanatic

Not to be outdone, the Fanatic hits the target bow market with a goal of completely raising the bar for competitive archers everywhere.

Several advancements in riser design are quite noticeable, particularly the shoot-through riser in which the grip is straight in line with the pivot point of the limb. Additionally, the string is aligned with the center of the riser — two factors that greatly prevent torque while drawing and after the release of the shot.

The bow, which weighs in at 4.6 pounds, features an axle-to-axle length of 36 1/2 inches, a brace height of 7 3/4 inches and an effective let-off of 60-75 percent. Draw length can be adjusted from 26-31 inches, available peak draw weights are 40, 50, 60 or 70 pounds and the IBO speed rating sits at 324 fps.
