Nikon’s Archer’s Choice MAX Rangefinder

by Lon E. Lauber   |  March 16th, 2011 0

Nikon’s new Archer’s Choice MAX ($330) is designed to take your bowhunting to the next level. With one-tenth-of-a-yard ranging increments, plus Nikon’s ID Technology that compensates for various shooting angles out to 100 yards and up to plus or minus 89 degrees, if you miss, it won’t be the rangefinder’s fault!

What I love about the MAX is the new 28% larger ocular. In real-world bowhunting terms, that means much faster target acquisition. Another real cool feature is the active brightness control viewfinder, which detects the brightness of the target itself and automatically adjusts the reticle to either a gray LCD in bright light or an orange LED in low light. Regardless of lighting conditions, you’ll be able to see the crosshairs and read the distance in a snap. With crystal clear 6X glass, single-button operation, and an uncluttered LCD display, this is truly the Archer’s Choice in rangefinders!
