Primos Rasps Out New Mouth Call
Primos' Boss Hogg is a stacked, double-frame mouth call with three thin reeds in the bottom frame and one reed in the top frame. The reeds are separated by 1/16-inch so you won't have to worry about them sticking when that big tom is close.
With a strong bass note and a real raspy finish built in, each yelp, cluck, and cutt you make with the Boss Hogg sounds like it came from the oldest hen in the woods. Contact: Primos Hunting Calls, 604 First St., Dept. BHM, Flora, MS 39071; 1-800-523-2395; www.primos.com.
New Block Target Lasts Even Longer
Field Logic's new Block 4x4 target combines the Friction Foam of the original Block on the inside with a PosiLock Compression System on the outside to hold the layers in place, thereby allowing for four-sided shooting. Each side of the 4x4 features a different target (Block five-spot, four of diamonds, deer silhouette w/anatomically correct vitals, and deer silhouette w/condensed vitals as viewed from treestand) to make practice sessions with fieldpoints and broadheads more fun. The Block 4x4 is available in a Portable model that measures 18"x18"x16" and a Pro model that measures 21"x21"x16." Contact: Field Logic, Inc., 101 Main St., Dept. Top Gun Rest Makes Shooting Simple
Top Gun's new Phantom drop-away rest has a hoop-shaped arrow cradle with a hole in the top for fast arrow loading. The hoop prevents your arrow from falling off the rest - even if you lay your bow across your lap - and it automatically centers your arrow when your bow is held upright. Because it's a drop-away rest, fletching clearance shouldn't be an issue. The cord that attaches the rest to your bow's downward moving cable raises the arrow when you draw. Upon release, the rest drops out from under the arrow, allowing the shaft to pass cleanly through the hoop. It's available in a right-handed model only. Contact: Top Gun Archery Accessories, 2727 N. Fairview Ave., Dept. BHM, Tucson, AZ 85705; (520) 884-9065; www.pse-archery.com.

Alpine Introduces Worry-Free ATV Bow Mounts
Alpine Archery's new ATV Bow Mounts are designed for safe, virtually vibration-free transport of your bow. Two models are available: a handlebar mount and a dovetail mount. The handlebar version works best on ATVs that have steering column-mounted headlights. It fastens to the handlebars in such a way that it doesn't interfere with the headlight beam. The dovetail model looks like a flat metal rack, and it mounts on front or rear ATV racks or cargo boxes. Contact: Alpine Archery, PO Box 310, Dept. P, Dept.
