Hoyt created quite a buzz in 2010 with the introduction of their Carbon Matrix™. For 2011, the company’s engineers hope to keep the pot boiling with the new Carbon Element™ ($1,299).

The high-performance carbon fibers used in the construction of its hollow carbon tube design are incredibly strong and lightweight. In fact, at 3.6 lbs., it’s the lightest and strongest bow Hoyt has ever produced. The carbon tube design also reduces noise and vibration and is warmer to the touch than aluminum — an important attribute on those late-season hunts.

The FUEL™ Cam and XTS ARC™ limbs of this 32″ bow work in tandem to create arrow speeds of 323 fps. The all-new In-Line Roller Guard™, with its precision rollers and sealed bearings, also plays a part in the speed of this bow by minimizing friction.

A Silent Shelf™ prevents your arrow from contacting the riser, thus eliminating noise at the most inopportune times. Brace height is 7″. It’s available in draw lengths of 24½”-30″ (1⁄2″ increments) and peak weights of 50, 60, 70, and 80 lbs.
