Practice Bowhunting on Live Animals

Randy Ulmer gives tips on why its important to practice bowhunting on live animals while in the stand. The veteran bowhunter draws on every deer that comes by his way, even if he’s not planning on shooting. This gives him valuable repetitive practice and allows him see what he can and can’t get away with when it doesn’t count so he’s spot on when it does.

This is a GREAT tip – I have been doing this exact thing for the last couple of seasons. It really works at the "moment of truth" when trying to find a shooting lane and picking a spot.
