Brooks Johnson devoted so much time to hunting turkeys from a ground blind that he became known in archery circles as “The Dark Archer”. Eventually, he decided to make his own blind, and thus, revolutionized the construction and design of this all-important bowhunter’s tool as co-founder of Double Bull blinds. Though he never quite made Forbes’ list as one of America’s wealthiest men, upon sale of the company he freed up some time to pursue his other dream job-that as host of Arrow Affliction. Brooks is unique among archers in that he shoots and hunts with both a traditional recurve, and the most modern of archery equipment, the Hoyt Carbon Matrix.
