To further explain Dual Spine, think about it this way. The back third of the arrow features very little oscillation at the shot, while the front two-thirds feature more oscillation. Though the front end will 'whip' at the shot, the back end works quickly to stabilize the entire arrow. This effect takes place almost immediately, meaning that the arrows will start to recover within one yard, not at five or 10 yards like conventional arrow shafts.
This obviously leads to a more accurate arrow, but it also results in more forgiving ammo. This becomes evident when taking a tricky shot out of a treestand or while stalking through the sage brush out west. The real world demands shots that take you out of your comfort zone, and those shots often mean slight variations in your shooting form. If your form changes, accuracy will almost always suffer. An arrow that stabilizes immediately tends to reduce the harmful effects of unintentional form change.
