Under Armour Speed Freek Boots

Under Armour announced at the 2011 SHOT Show that it has partnered with W.L Gore & Associates (makers of GORE-TEX® Technology) to produce Under Armour’s first line of hunting footwear. The five boots unveiled at SHOT will be available August 2011. The line covers a broad range of hunting styles and each features a GORE-TEX® waterproof/breathable lining. Space con-straints prevent in-depth coverage of all five models, so here I’ll focus on their Speed Freek ($169.99). This aggressive model sports a high-abrasion rubber outsole, Cordura® mesh and lightweight pigskin leather upper, molded EVA midsole, TPU toecap and heel clip, composite speed lacing, molded Ortholite® sockliner, and an ETC® anti-friction sockliner lining. It’s available in five colors and men’s sizes 8-12 (in half sizes), 13 and 14.
