ATA Show 2016: PSE Carbon Air

Weighing in at a mere 3.2 pounds, PSE is billing its all-new Carbon Air as the world's lightest ultra-performance compound bow. At the heart of the Carbon Air is PSE's TrueCarbon Technology riser, which employs the same monocoque construction methods used in the automotive, aerospace and cycling industries to create a one-piece carbon shell that is incredibly strong and light.

PSE then fills the riser with its Structural Rigid Acoustic Core (S-RAC) material to further dampen noise and vibration, making the Carbon Air truly dead in hand. Equipped with X-Force parallel split limbs and HD Hybrid cam, the Carbon Air has an IBO speed rating of 340 fps in tandem with 80 percent letoff.

The Carbon Air measures 32 inches between the axles, has a 6 1/8-inch brace height and features a FlexSlide 2 cable-containment system, Backstop 4 string suppressor, SHOCK MODZ limb dampers and America's Best Bowstrings Platinum string and cables. The Carbon Air accommodates draw lengths from 24 ½-30 ½ inches and is available in peak draw weights of 50, 60, 65 and 70 pounds.

Finish options include all black, Mossy Oak Break-Up Country or black riser with PSE Skullworks 2 limbs. The PSE Carbon Air MSRP is $1,499.
