Heading into 2026, Bear Archery has taken one of its most trusted hunting bows and elevated it with a new design built to be smoother, quieter, and more customizable. The Alaskan Pro blends reliability with performance-driven technology, giving bowhunters a setup that’s as steady in the treestand as it is versatile in the backcountry.
At the core of the Alaskan Pro is the new EKO 2 Cam System, which offers adjustable letoff at 80 or 85 percent and delivers speeds up to 339 fps. This cam system pairs with a cable roller system for a smooth, consistent draw cycle that’s easy on the shoulders and is confidence-inspiring when it matters most. With a 33-inch axle-to-axle length and a 6.25-inch brace height, the bow strikes a balance between stability and maneuverability. For us, the 33-inch ATA length is the perfect length to take anywhere you wish to hunt.
2026 Bear Archery Alaskan Pro Noise and hand shock are minimized thanks to a complete vibration dampening system, which integrates in-limb, in-riser, and string stop components. A Shelf Guard rubber insert ensures quiet arrow contact when drawing in close-range scenarios, adding another layer of stealth to the design. Practical details, like the integrated rope attachment for pulling the bow up to a treestand, round out a package that’s built with hunters in mind.
The Alaskan Pro is available as a dealer-exclusive model and comes in several finish options, including Mossy Oak Bottomland, Olive Stone, and the new Emerge 2.0 pattern. For those looking for a ready-to-hunt package, Bear pairs the bow with a full Trophy Ridge accessory setup. This includes an integrated 4-pin sight, IMS Whisker Biscuit rest, 5-arrow quiver, stabilizer with a wrist sling, peep sight, and D-loop to give you everything needed to get dialed in on day one.

The Alaskan Pro has two draw weight options: 45-60 or 55-70 pounds. After looking the Alaskan Pro over and sending a few arrows downrange, it didn’t take long to see the incredible value in this bow. The draw cycle is smooth from start to finish, and the back wall feels secure without being harsh. At the shot, vibration is kept in check and the bow settles quickly, which makes it easy to stay on target. The small details like the shelf guard, rope attachment, and adjustable cam options make it feel like a bow built for hunters who value simplicity and reliability. In true Bear Archery fashion, they have once again built a bow that does exactly what you want in the field, making it a rig you can have confidence in when it matters most.

“Ever since I was old enough to carry an empty BB gun to the duck blind with my dad, I have been enamored by hunting. I grew up in central Nebraska, running river bottoms for whitetails, crawling through open pastures after gobblers, and freezing in layout blinds waiting on ducks. That hasn't changed much now that I am well into my hunting career. I still hunt the same way, public ground, door knocking for spots, and chasing a new adventure each time I put on the camo.
I don't pretend to know everything. I've missed shots, bumped deer, and blown more setups than I care to admit. But I've also learned a lot along the way, and when I write my stories, it's to share what's worked for me, and to share real world experiences with those who are as obsessed as I am.”
