Bowtech Archery today unveiled its all-new Carbon One, the company’s first-ever carbon-riser bow and a rig Bowtech claims is the most vibration-free carbon bow ever built.

The foundation of the Carbon One is the riser built with high-modulus carbon fiber that not only provides great strength but also does a tremendous job in neutralizing shot noise and vibration, creating a very quiet arrow launch and a dead-in-hand feel for the archer. The bow measures 30 inches between the axles, has a 6.63-inch brace height and 4.5-pound mass weight. The suggested retail price is $1,799.

The Carbon One is powered by Bowtech’s popular DeadLock binary cam system that produces an advertised IBO speed of 335 fps and allows shooters to easily tune the cams for perfect arrow flight by using the DeadLock tuning screws on each cam to move the cam left or right along its axle. Making small adjustments in cam position allows users to tune the bow for their individual shooting style, quickly correcting any left or right nock travel discrepancies and achieving a perfect bullet hole while paper tuning their arrows —all without a bow press.

The Carbon One’s split limbs have a wide stance for increased stability and enhanced accuracy. The limbs and riser come together using Bowtech’s Dual Lock Pockets and proven Center Pivot design. The front of the riser and front of the limbs meet the front of the pockets, while struts on the back of the riser (one at top and one at bottom) meet the rear of the pockets at a second point further back along the limbs toward the shooter. This configuration isolates limb flex in the back half of the limbs and works in tandem with the wide limb stance to maximize overall system stability and consistency.

Other highlights of the Carbon One include a Clutch Performance Grip, cam-mounted FlipDiscs that allow shooters to choose between Comfort and Performance draw cycles, Integrate rest-mounting compatibility and a full complement of noise- and vibration-dampening accessories. The Carbon One accommodates draw lengths from 25.5-30.5 inches, via rotating cam modules, while dual, cam-mounted limb stops provide a rock solid back wall at full draw.

The Carbon One is available in peak draw weights of 50, 60 and 70 pounds. Finish options include Black, OD Green, Smoke Grey and Flat Dark Earth. Make sure to watch our accompanying video for a full review of the Carbon One and to see the bow in action!
