Looking for a rest that provides total fletching clearance?

Looking for a rest that provides total fletching clearance? Or is it total containment that you're after? Why not shoot both? Archery hunters know that a rest must be fine-tuned to get optimal arrow flight for shots at any distance. Most drop-away rests on the market today provide the micro adjustments needed to achieve total clearance, but few also offer total-containment; an added bonus that many archers are using to their advantage today. The Ultra-Rest LD from QAD (Quality Archery Designs) offers both; a full capture rest that falls away at the shot for total fletching clearance. When stalking or perched high in a tree stand, drawing or slowly letting down, the Ultra-Rest LD will continue to totally support and capture the arrow. The LD (Lock-Down) internal cam and brake feature is designed to lock the launcher down when it falls for total fletching clearance. The VDT (Velocity Drop-Away Technology) feature allows the rest to fall away only when the bow is fired. The Ultra Rest LD relies on the velocity of the forward movement via the Timing Cord attached to the downward buss cable, which initiates the launcher to drop. Before the shot, or when drawing or letting down, VDT assures the rest remains in the cocked position. After the shot, archers will notice how quiet and shock-free the Ultra-Rest LD actually is. The precision-machined aluminum components and laser cut felt allow for a quiet, smooth shot. The rest is one of, if not the most important accessory on your bow, and if you're having a hard time deciding whether it's a dropaway or full-capture rest that will improve your shooting, give the Ultra-Rest a try; the best of both worlds.
