Designed after the old Lewis and Clark handmade leather journals, Hunterhills' journals are recognized as rustic yet skillfully crafted pieces of art that hold specifically-designed pages for various book styles; each capturing the essence of the hunt and days spent outdoors. Holding individually hand torn, acid-free paper sheets that have been hand sewn into the journal, each Hunterhill journal is made from top grain leather and designed by artists who carry a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Both the Whitetails Hunting Journal and Big-Game Hunting Journal will be top picks amongst bowhunters. Both journals are offered in three models; Lodge, Camp and Field. They differ in the front cover page design -- the Whitetail Journal featuring a nice whitetail buck image and the Big-Game Hunting Journal featuring an elk, mule deer, whitetail, bighorn sheep, buffalo and moose.

The Camp Journal squares the same but holds 200 formatted pages (no photo pages). The smaller and compact 4x7-inch Field Journal offers 110 pages and is perfect to take anywhere.
The formatted pages provide spaces for all the listed categories; date, location, weather, air temperature, wind, moon phase, terrain, GPS coordinates, game pursued, tag type, animal, size, score, weapon, model, bow, arrows, other gear, notes, map and more.
