It's common to see bowhunters sitting in treestands with their quivers hanging above them and out of the way. Even out West, you'll find the spot-and-stalk bowhunter with arrows conveniently carried in a hip-style quiver belted to his waist or even daisy-chained to his backpack. Usually, quivers are removed to reduce weight or eliminate concerns about bow balance. However, I would bet most -- if not all -- of us have experienced a situation that required a quick second arrow.

Whether it's a follow-up shot or the opportunity for a second chance after missing the first time, being able to nock an arrow quickly while moving as little possible is paramount to successful bowhunting. And though quivers do add weight, I suggest manning up and adding a TightSpot quiver! TightSpot designed its line specifically to address accurate shooting with a bow-mounted quiver. Made to minimize torque and nest tight to your bow, the TightSpot quiver system allows archers to fine-tune the balance of their overall bow setup.

Fully adjustable (up/down, in/out and forward/back), I was able to position the quiver perfectly so the nock ends of my arrows sat within the axle-to-axle length of my bow and not in the dirt. I also played with positioning and found a spot where I felt weight was better distributed. For 2010, the TightSpot features a new QuadFit 4-way spacer that allows you to mount the quiver right up against the cable guard.

The molded rubber spacer features four sides, and the design helps dampen vibration and gives you a reference point so you can attach the quiver in the exact same spot every time. The 5-arrow TightSpot features Quick Draw Arrow Deployment and, for quick arrow access, a single arrow gripper is positioned closest to the string toward the shooter and not toward the outside.

If you're going to be ready for that second shot, you might as well have your arrow handy! The TightSpot can also be detached quickly if needed without any tools. Available in left- and right-handed models, in thee camo options and with Matte Black or OD Green hardware.
