Hoyt Archery has unmasked its 2025 lineup, which includes the latest offering in the flagship Carbon RX series, as well as an addition to the popular Alpha series from a year ago.
REDWRX Carbon RX-9 When the average bowhunter thinks of carbon bows, Hoyt is often the first brand that comes to mind. It's been an industry leader in carbon bow technology for years, and there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon with the announcement of the Carbon RX-9 .
Hoyt Carbon RX-9 The new RX-9 ($2,099) features the new HBX Gen 4 cam system, which has an adjustable letoff from 75-85 percent. The cam system features five draw-length modules, ranging from 25-30 inches. The RX-9 has an axle-to-axle length of 30 9/16 inches, a brace height of 6 1/8 inches, and an ATA speed of 342 fps. Carbon bows are well-known for lightweight risers, and the RX-9 is no exception coming in at just four pounds (bare bow).
The RX-9 will come standard with Hoyt’s In-Line Sight Mount, which uses a picatinny rail mount for streamlined sight mounting to keep the bow balanced. Like recent years’ bows, the RX-9 will feature a QAD Integrate mounting system for a rock-solid, streamlined rest-mounting option. The RX-9 also comes with the VitalPoint Grip System, which many Hoyt users have come to love. With the addition of the Short Stop 2.0 Stabilizer, and the new mounting location in the lower part of the bow, the RX-9 gets the same stability from a two-inch stabilizer as it would from a 6-inch stabilizer mounted in a typical position. The RX-9 has 15 finish options, and six different draw weights, ranging from 40-80 pounds.

Alpha AX-2 Hoyt Alpha AX-2 The Alpha series was a home run for Hoyt last year, and they're building off the same platform with Alpha AX-2 . The bow will feature the same upgraded cam system as the RX-9, the HBX Gen 4 cams. This provides the same 75-85 percent letoff options, as well as a five-module draw-length setting. Sporting a 29 9/16-inch axle-to-axle length and a 6 7/16-inch brace height, the Alpha AX-2 will prove to be an incredibly stable and forgiving bow. If you have the need for speed, the Alpha AX-2 should more than fit the bill with an ATA speed of 340 fps.
The tried-and-true VitalPoint Grip will come standard on the Alpha AX-2, along with the In-Line Sight Mount — which utilizes a picatinny rail mount for a variety of sight options — an Integrate rest mounting system, and the new Short Stop 2.0 Stabilizer.
Fits, Finishes & Accessories Both the RX-9 and Alpha AX-2 pair seamlessly with Hoyt’s Superlite quiver, and the new Go-Stix 2.0. The same goes for Hoyt’s new SL Sidebar, which offers less bulk and weight while giving shooters more stabilization. Each model is available in nine camo patterns, as well as six solid colors.
