Introducing the New Prime Rival, Ion, and One Series

Introducing the New Prime Rival, Ion, and One Series

G5 Outdoors recently introduced three new bows to its lineup: The Prime Rival, Ion, and One Series, which includes One-STX and One-MX.

Prime Rival

Prime Rival

The Prime Rival is built to be an ultra-versatile bow suited for hunters and target shooters alike. With an IBO rating of 340 fps, the Rival ups the ante for speed bows while maintaining control and accuracy. A new PCXL parallel cam system allows the shooter to adjust the let-off from 65 to 85 percent. The Flexis-AR roller guard not only reduces torque on the cables, it also allows for tuning and adjustment to perfect distance from the arrow for the optimum hunting or competition setup.

Meanwhile, a redesigned 7000 Series aluminum riser is among the strongest in the industry but lighter than previous designs. The new riser makes for a perfectly balanced bow, right out of the box. An integrated Ghost Grip offers tight groups at any distance or in any condition.

The Rival is 35 inches axle-to-axle with a brace height of 6.25 inches. It weighs 4.3 pounds, is available in right and left handed models and retails for $999 (camo), $1,049 (black) or $1,199 (target).

Prime Ion

Prime Ion

The new Prime Ion is a compact, lightweight bow boasting an electric combination of three new features. It's a perfect bow for hunters dealing with tight quarters. The PCXL parallel cam extends the adjustment range to 85-percent let-off for increased comfort when those important minutes at full draw feel like hours. A Flexis-AR comes standard, as does the same Ghost Grip and 7000 Series riser as the Rival.

The Ion measures 31 inches axle-to-axle, has a 7.25-inch brace height and registers an IBO rating of 330 fps. It weighs just 3.9 pounds, is available in draw lengths from 26 to 30 inches and retails for $999 (camo) or $1,049 (black).

The new One Series offers two new risers, eye-catching colors, a Flexis-AR tunable roller guard, and an innovative modular-based parallel cam system that allows archers to compete with the draw cycle they prefer — be it speed, smoothness, or both. The first offering, the One-MX, measures 39 inches axle-to-axle, has a brace height of 7 inches, an IBO speed rating of 323 fps and weighs 4.6 pounds. The One-MX retails for $1,099 (black) or $1,199 (target).

The One-STX is designed to give competitors an edge in strength, balance and control. It features a new 7000 Series riser, which is among the stiffest in the industry and is made to eliminate torque. It comes standard with the parallel cam system, measures 39 inches axle-to-axle, has a brace height of 7 inches and weighs 4.6 pounds. The One-STX has an MSRP of $1,399 (black) or $1,499 (target).
