Mathews today launched its 2025 lineup of bows and accessories, headlined by the new LIFT X that builds on last year’s top-selling LIFT platform with several new technologies that boost archers’ ability to tune and customize the bow to suit their personal shooting style.
“The LIFT X continues to push the envelope of bow technology,” said Brad Treu, Mathews Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “While the 2024 LIFT was among our best-selling bows of all time, we’re never satisfied. After countless hours of R&D, we took to the drawing board to find ways to enhance the archery experience even further. Out of that has come the all-new LIFT X, resulting in our most versatile hunting system to-date”.
Available in two models — the LIFT X 29.5 and LIFT X 33 — named for their axle-to-axle lengths, both incorporate a trio of new-for-2025 features as follows:

Limb Shift Technology Mathews’ new, patented Limb Shift Technology (LST) is a first-of-its kind tuning method that allows shooters to micro-adjust limb position without a bow press. By simply turning a setscrew, archers can make small adjustments to achieve perfect arrow flight, customized to their shooting form, without changing cam position or adding or removing twists to the bow’s harness yokes. Mathews says this not only simplifies the tuning process for LIFT X owners but results in a more optimized tune than alternative methods.
“Limb Shift Technology brings the highest level of precision tuning to the individual archer,” said Mark Hayes, Mathews Design Engineering Manager. “No longer will you need a bow press to tune your bow. With LST, you can quickly and easily tune your bow with the simple turn of a wrench to achieve a perfect tune, every time”.
ARC7 Limb Technology With all-new ARC7 Limb Technology, Mathews has pioneered a new, multi-step build process to ensure strength and consistency across the production line. The result is a completely new limb that is more durable and more efficient throughout the load sequence than any limb Mathews has ever made.

BOND Grips Mathews’ Engage Grip has been in an industry favorite for years, but for 2025 the company is offering three additional options as part of its BOND Grip system, designed to offer shooters an option that maximizes both personal comfort and shooting consistency.
To create the BOND Grips, Mathews mapped the hand placement of hundreds of archers and then designed the grips to fit various shooting styles. The new BOND grips feature a textured, rubber grip surface, and they are designed to easily snap on and off the bow without the need for adhesives.
The LIFT X will ship standard with the Engage Grip that offers a 14-degree shooting angle and classic “Mathews feel” that will be the best choice for most shooters. Other options in the line include: the BOND Contour, also featuring a 14-degree but optimized to reduce riser torque; the BOND Taper, with a 17-degree angle preferred by target shooters and a wide, flat lower face with an aggressive edge tapered to a narrow throat; and BOND Side Plates for minimalists who want an ultra-thin grip profile that utilizes the flat-back grip surface machined directly into the back of the riser.
