I geek out over bow sights.
Why?
Today's offerings are stellar. Your options are many, from dial-to-the-yard movers to fixed multi-pins to those sporting all-new riser-mounted options to reduce weight and provide ultra-secure attachment.
My first bow sight was a five-pin fixed TRUGLO. It worked amazingly, but each year, I continued to upgrade. Today, my riser pic-mounted bow sight sports three vertical inline pins with individual yardage needles on sight tape built to the speed of my bow. The yardage wheel comes off easily, and if and when I want to switch arrow setups, I swap wheels. The rack-and-pinion vertical drive is butter, and the sight features second and third-axis adjustments.

Any to-come will do if you're in the market for a new-for-2025 sight.
Spot-Hogg Boonie Spot-Hogg Boonie Spot-Hogg wins again with its all-new Boonie. It was my go-to sight in the fall, and I had fantastic success. Available in multiple pin configurations, this moveable sight allows bowhunters to remove the yardage wheel via two hex-head screws. This simplifies sight tape addition and lets bowhunters create different sight wheels for different arrow setups. The Boonie is more compact and lightweight with an improved tooless windage rail and a new locking brake system with adjustable tension. The Boonie mounts to any bow via Dovetail, Picatinny, or standard Hard Mount design. The sight is bombproof, smooth, and ultra-precise.

AXCEL Driven AXCEL Driven More than one AXCEL sight has graced my risers over the years, and for a good reason: AXCEL sights promise zero slops and remarkable engineering precision. Bowhunters will cheer the oversized, easy-to-grip elevation knob, and when windage adjustments are needed, simply utilize the pop-out inner knob. Three-yardage pointers in green, red, and green provide exact yardages for the three-pin sight along the metal sight tapes. The metal sight tapes are fantastic. They are easy to change out, and you never have to worry about them peeling or getting moisture damage. Proper gearing makes the sight smooth, and AXCEL offers interchangeable rubber treads on the drive wheel and colors/laser engraving patterns on the Hubcaps, which means you can trick the sight out to your liking. Picatinny, Bridge-Lock, dovetail, and standard mounts are available.

Trophy Ridge SWFT DUO Trophy Ridge SWFT DUO Many bowhunters prefer a single-pin design because the uncluttered housing reduces target panic and allows the shooter to focus on a single vertical pin. The knock on single-pin sights is that bowhunters only get one aiming point. Enter the Trophy Ridge SWFT DUO. Dial-to-the-yard accuracy is smooth, and the second aiming point doesn't add clutter. A Click Light lets you adapt quickly to various lighting conditions, and tooless windage and elevation features are functional and slop-free. The DUO sports a fixed center pin and an independent micro-adjustable second pin.

Black Gold 2nd Generation CenterMass Sight System Black Gold 2nd Generation CenterMass Sight System Based on feedback from consumers and dealers, Black Gold will add the CenterMass Sight System to its existing lineup of Black Gold sights, like the Pro Hunter HD, for 2025. This new design incorporates input from dealers and consumers to shift the sight's weight closer to the center of the riser, resulting in a more balanced mounting position and increased sight housing visibility. To increase rigidity and improve mounting security, there are now two screws attaching the sight bar directly to the riser.

Option Archery Canyon Pounder Option Archery Canyon Pounder If Dan Evans designs it, bowhunters should take notice, and his Canyon Pounder is a bow sight marvel. Tough as nails with vibrant pins, the sight features a trio of magnets holding the swing-out-of-the-way housing containing your choice of two, three, or four individual pins set on a horizontal plane, exposing a single pin. With this design, bowhunter can quickly switch from a multi-pin housing to a single slider pin. The CP Zero Stop prevents any whoops moments, and the single-pin and multi-pin fibers are contained in covered compartments for protection and precise light gathering. Top and bottom elevation knobs are easy to grip, and the sight has second and third-axis adjustability.
