Xpedition Archery today unveiled a 2020 bow lineup that includes four new models that offers something for just about every bowhunter, from those who want a super-fast speed bow to those who like compact bows for maximum maneuverability in the field to those who appreciate the forgiveness offered by a longer axle-to-axle platform that is as at home on the target range as it is in the treestand.
MX-15 and MX-16 The 2020 Xpedition lineup is headlined by the MX-15 and M-16 models, featuring IBO speed ratings of 362 fps and 352 fps respectively. Building off the success of last year’s Mako X, Xpedition designed the MX-15 and MX-16 with bowhunters in mind and combined a platform that is both plenty fast and powerful while also being fun to shoot. Both rigs feature a caged riser design for incredible stability as well as reduced noise and vibration. A new limb pocket system maintains perfect limb/riser alignment for consistent accuracy, while the new Hybrid Dual Stop (HDS) cam system allows shooters to fine-tune the feel of the back wall via a choice of limb stop, cable stop, or both.
Xscape Next in the 2020 Xpedition lineup is the Xscape, a compact, 30-inch axle-to-axle bow that also packs a lot of performance with an IBO speed rating of 350 fps via the HDS cam system. Xpedition designed the Xscape for bowhunters who desire a high level of maneuverability in the tight confines of treestands and ground blinds. And with all the performance and adjustability the HDS cams offer, the company says the Xscape will redefine what bowhunters expect from a short axle-to-axle bow.
Denali LX Finally, on the other end of the spectrum, is the Denali LX, a “hybrid” bowhunting and target rig that measures 34 inches between the axles. The new, caged riser design provides excellent balance and stability on target, working with the enhanced limb-pocket design to provide the consistent accuracy tournament shooters and hardcore bowhunters both desire. Like Xpedition’s other 2020 bows, the Denali LX is powered by the HDS cam system and boasts an IBO speed rating of 345 fps, along with all the custom tuning options the HDS cams offer.
