P.J. Reilly

"Better Bowhunter" host P.J. Reilly has spent the past 30 years working in the media to tell stories about interesting people in the worlds of bowhunting and target archery, and to provide technical information about archery gear. He has written articles about bowhunting and archery for dozens of national and international magazines, including Bowhunter.

For the past five years, P.J. has been the primary on-camera personality for Lancaster Archery Supply, one of the world’s leading suppliers of bowhunting, 3-D and target archery equipment. He also is part of the Competition Archery Media team that broadcasts professional archery tournaments to the world on The Sportsman Channel and social media.

When he is not talking or writing about target archers, archery gear or bowhunting, Reilly spends as much time as possible competing in local tournaments and hunting whitetails and other game in his home state of Pennsylvania and beyond. His hunting adventures have taken him to 27 states, seven Canadian provinces and Europe.
