Introducing the Hoyt Spyder Bow

by Bowhunter Online Staff   |  January 8th, 2013 2

Hoyt Archery introduced the brand new Hoyt Spyder during the 2013 ATA Show at Louisville, Ky. Measuring 30 inches axle-to-axle and weighing just 3.8 pounds, the Spyder is outed as the smoothest, quietest bow Hoyt has ever built thanks to Hoyt’s new Air Shock system, which eliminates limb vibration when the bow is fired. The Spyder also features Hoyt’s RKT Cam & 1/2, which allows for a smooth draw and an easy letdown if that shot doesn’t happen. Also included is Hoyt’s StealthShot string suppression system, which kills string vibration after the bow is fired. The Spyder will retail for about $949. Check out the video from the ATA Show.

After years of shooting comp. and most of my bows were Hoyt's, I would believe they have a real winner in the newest addition, Retired and viewing all the new bows, this is a winner, thanks Hoyt for years of great shooting.
Your R&D dept. has always done the best.
    Have a great 2013

I purchased this bow and have been shooting it for practice – it is supremely quiet – hardly even know the shot is fired – easy to shoot and accurate, I have been shooting some nice groupings at 30 yds and 40 yds. A great bow to own and looking forward to hunting with it.
