Viral Video: New Prime Bow Lifts SUV

Viral Video: New Prime Bow Lifts SUV

There are many ways to introduce a new product, but for manufacturers like Prime, you've got to do something to stand out from the rest of the pack.

With an announcement today of their new 2013 line of premium bows, Prime did just that, releasing a video of their new forged aluminum 7000 series riser being used to lift a Jeep. Tethered to a strap and lift, the aluminum riser passed the test, successfully bearing the load of the SUV. The guys from G5 even shot the bow afterward without any issues.

The newest models for 2013 — the Impact and Defy — feature the 7000 riser, and like all Prime bows employ a parallel cam system to help stabilize and eliminate cam lean. The Impact doubles as a hunting or tournament bow, while the Defy is geared toward the hunter exclusively, offering the same features in a more compact setup (31'' axle-to-axle).
