From standard 3-pin to riser-mounted adjustable makes, 2023's bow sight crop is great. Aside from increased customization options in pin size, color, number, and other make-it-your-own features, a significant 2023 sight theme is a single vertical post with multiple fiber-optic pins set along that post. Another prominent notice is mounting options. This year's class is in a league all its own, from riser-mounted models to detachable brackets to standard brackets.
Spot-Hogg Fast Eddie PM
Spot-Hogg always finds a way to impress, and 2023 is no different. Enter the Fast Eddie PM. Wearing a Pic-Mount bar that attaches directly to the front of many modern-day bow riser Picatinny-rail systems, the Fast Eddie PM reduces overall bow weight, ensures absolute lockdown, and is tough as nails. The Fast Eddie PM has 2nd- and 3rd-axis leveling, comes with MRT sight rings, and is available in Spot-Hogg's Single-Pin, Double Pin, Triple Stack, and 3-, 5-, or 7-Pin housings. The 6061 aluminum finish is a fade, chip, and scratch-resistant Type II anodized hard coat, and bowhunters get all the same features that have made the Fast Eddie a tried-and-true sight.
Redline The Torch
Launched in 2022, Redline accessory items have quickly become a fan favorite. This is primarily due to the relentless innovation that goes into each product, and the manufacturer's new-for-2023 bow sight is no different. Branded The Torch, this sight was specifically designed to handle any distance, hunt, terrain, environment, etc. A 4 Stage Sight Light means customizable brightness, and Dual Vertical Pins provide the bowhunter with a pair of aiming points. The Torch is also available with two bracket options — fixed (11 ounces) and dovetail (13 ounces) — and 40 metal yardage tapes make dialing in more straightforward than ever. The Dual Gear Driven build ensures elevation adjustments are silky smooth, and The Torch comes with a trio of interchangeable bubble levels (green, red, blue), which up the customization ante.
Custom Bow Equipment Trek
With 12 inches of fiber optics protected within CBE's Blade Pin and available in pin makeups of 1, 3, or 5, CBE's Trek will handle whatever you throw at it. Pin sizes are customizable in either .010" or .019", and archers only need to sight in at 30 and 60 yards and then match up one of the 14 laser-engraved aluminum sight tapes. Ready to conquer distances close and far, the Trek allows for 2nd- and 3rd-axis adjustment and is compatible with quiver mounts, so shooters won't need bracket extensions.
Dialed Archery ARXOS MAG-3V
When a sight maker creates a bow sight that allows one to customize everything from the tape location (inside or outside) to the frame to the housing to pin size and more, bowhunters take notice. That's the case with Dialed Archery, a company that's creating a 2023 buzz. Made in the USA and branded with a lifetime warranty, the ARXOS Series with MAG-3V pins is sure to be a top choice. The housing, known as the MAG, is color-customizable and is fitted with a top bubble level and a single vertical post with a trio of fiber-optic aiming points. The VOID Dial Wheel with Angled Elevation reduces the chances of arrow and vane contact with the bottom of the sight housing, which means increased downrange capabilities.
Trophy Ridge Fatal Series
Available in three- and four-pin options and designed to give the archer everything they need and nothing they don't, Trophy Ridge's Fatal Series is a get-the-job-done duo. The Fatal offers ultra-bright .019" medium horizontal fiber optic pins to reduce housing clutter and help the archer hone in on their target. Multiple mounting holes increase adjustability and flexibility, and the sight comes with a bubble level.
AXCEL Archery Landslyde Carbon Pro with Ranger Ring Pin
AXCEL's new-for-2023 Landslyde Carbon Pro is now available with the Ranger Ring Pin. This two-pin cartridge comes with the sight but can also be purchased separately and added to previous Landslyed makes. The pair of pins are on a single vertical post, and archers get a green top pin and a red bottom pin. The Ranger Ring Pin is offered in .019" and .010" pin sizes for the AVX 31 and AXV 41 scope sizes. The Landslyde Carbon Pro sports an ultra-smooth quick-adjust knob that archers can use to dial to precise yardage or as a rapid-adjustment knob by pressing the elevation knob in and sliding the head of the sight up or down.
Black Gold Pro Hunter HD
A solid choice for Mathews shooters that wrap their hand around a bow fitted with Bridge-Lok Technology, the Pro Hunter HD has a dovetail mounting bar that slides into and mounts inside the riser. The PhotoChromatic shell instantly adapts to any lighting condition, and the .019" Pro Pins have a narrower throat that ends in a rounder pinhead that creates less target blackout. The Pro Hunter HD sports a micro-adjust 3rd and non-micro adjustable 1st and 2nd axes. Fifty-four sight tapes are included, and the Dial of Death is smooth, fast, and married with a dual indicator system needle for short and long-yardage reference.
Black Gold Mountain Lite Dual Trac
A two-pin vertical sight that gives bowhunters a pair of aiming points and maximum housing visibility and movement, Black Gold's Mountain Lite Dual Trac will be cheered by the stick-and-string crowd. Designed to keep bow weight down while boosting maneuverability, the ML base is compact and uber-light. The .019" Pro Pins are fitted with a narrower pin throat that ends in a perfectly matched rounded pinhead that creates less target blackout. The Dial of Death feature allows archers to instantly dial to pre-determined yardages with a dual indicator system for short and long yardage reference. The Mountain Lite Dual Trac comes with 54 sight tapes, and the PhotoChromatic shell perfectly adapts pin brightness to any lighting condition.

APEX Gear Aegis Fiber Optic Detachable Bracket & Standard Bracket Single-Pin Sights
Single-pin fanatics will love the 1.8" ID aperture housing and single .019" vertical pin design of APEX's Aegis Fiber Optic Detachable Bracket & Standard Bracket Single-Pin sights. The Detachable Bracket costs a few more greenbacks. Still, the five-position rail that inserts and locks down into a bow-mounted clamp means easy sight removal for safe transport during storage and a customizable housing-from-riser distance. The Standard Bracket has all the bells and whistles, but archers get a trio of mounting options on a direct-to-riser frame instead of a detachable bracket.
HHA Tetra Max RYZ
Single-pin Yoda HHA gives bowhunters and 3D shooters a fantastic bow sight with a 1.625-inch housing that contains a green primary pin and second red or yellow (shooters choice) secondary pin set on a single vertical post. With 2.1 inches of travel, the Tetra Max RYZ features Dual Yardage Pointers and multiple water-resistant long-distance yardage tapes to ensure remarkable downrange accuracy. The yardage wheel is smooth and removable, and the sight is light and lens compatible. A bright sight ring promises ideal peep-to-housing alignment, and the integrated bubble level ensures precision.
TRUGLO Veros 3-Pin
Three-pin sights are popular for many reasons. First, housing clutter is reduced, and three seems to be the magical number for setting pin distances of 20, 30, and 40 yards — common ranges in the whitetail woods. However, shooters can customize the three moveable pins on the Veros. RizeWrap angled fibers hold increased light to ensure maximum pin brightness in low light, and the Pro-Brite pin design further boosts pin visibility and ensures durability. Mid-bracket elevation and windage adjustments make sighting in easy, and the Tru-Touch soft feel technical coating reduces game-spooking noises.
