For 2021, Rage has solved the “collar” issue on its famed Trypan. A two-inch cut killer, the Trypan is fitted with .039-inch blades that are both sharp and durable, and the super swept-back blade angle boosts penetration. Putting icing on the cake is No Collar technology. Now Trypan lovers can go without the grey Trypan specific collar and remain confident their blades will remain closed in flight.

The next incarnation in the famed Montec line is G5’s new-for-2021 M3. Noted by the manufacturer to be stronger, sharper and quieter, this sure-to-be cheered fixed head is a non-vented single-piece designed to be tough and remove the whistle often associated with vented-blade designs. The M3 features a 100 percent stainless-steel make, has a higher Rockwell than any of its predecessors, and is offered in 100- and 125-grain options. The head will be available in a crossbow version and BMP (Ballistically Matched Point) heads will be offered for practice sessions.

For 2021, SEVR lovers get a more swept-back blade angle, re-designed deployment arm geometry and a cutting diameter that has been taken from 2.1 to a flat 2 inches. The result of this design is a slightly reduced cutting diameter; however, penetration has been boosted. Those that fill their quivers with the Ti 2.0 will see up to 15 percent more penetration on game. Of course, the Ti 2.0 still features SEVR’s patented rear-deploy locking-pivoting blade technology and can be set to Practice Mode via the addition of a small set screw. All Ti 2.1 ferrules will accept new Ti 2.0 replacement blades.

A two-blade big-game wrecker chiseled from titanium, the one-piece ferrule on Titanium’s X Large Game head has been strategically engineered to cut through dense bone and thick hide. Larger in diameter than the ferrule to create a friction-free path, the head sport a sizeable four-edged tip, and the .031-inch-thick stainless-steel blades are replaceable and slide easily into place. Total cutting diameter is 1-3/16 inches, and a pair of different-sized locking collars are provided with each broadhead.
