Every bowhunter has a vice. For some, it’s the latest gadgets for their bows or the latest best next broadhead. For others it's the bow itself that really turns their crank. For me, if I were to be completely honest, it would have to be the latest camo huntwear.

Rocky Rugged Collection

The new Rugged collection from Rocky will certainly find its way into my closet this season. Designed to deliver comfort, performance and durability, this five piece collection feature lightweight, breathable materials with up to 100 grams of PrimaLoft insulation, making them a great mid- to late-season option. Only available in Realtree EDGE camo, the go-to hooded jacket and pants are designed from a breathable poly shell and are equipped with Rocky’s durable, water-repellent DWR coating, YKK zippers with multiple pockets.

ScentLok Reactor Jacket

In 2019, ScentLok launched the popular BE:1 Reactor Series, and this year they are launching an updated version that’s sure to be the buzz once again. Retaining the best features of the original, while adding new ones, it’s still a highly versatile jacket that is designed as a stand-alone piece or as a layering piece beneath ScentLok’s other seasonal collections. Sporting Carbon Alloy scent-control technology, the re-invented Reactor Jacket offers improved thermal performance with 60 grams of Primaloft Silver low-bulk insulation with a new microfleece lining with their WindBrake windproof design. It’s equipped with a new ergonomically fitted Scuba hood that keeps body heat from escaping, while also locking in human odor. Tailored for minimal bulk and maximum mobility, it pairs silent micro tricot fabric in the body and upper-arm areas with a stretch polyester cuff and a trim fitted waist.

Huntworth Saskatoon Soft Shell Cold-Weather Series

Although November is what all whitetail bowhunters dream about in the off-season, the late season can be a productive time of year as well, if you can stand the elements. Helping you to get the most out of the entire season, Huntworth launches the new Saskatoon soft shell cold-weather series. Equipped with their new HEAT BOOST Graphene Technology, they are designed to provide 30% more warmth without the bulk that other insulated garments often have. Incorporating a quiet, 4-way stretch flexible shell, a windproof membrane with sherpa lining, they offer a lightweight, highly flexible garment with a high heat-to-weight ratio. They also feature a long-lasting, water-resistant finish to ensure rain, sleet or snow won’t be the reason you leave early.

FORLOH SolAir Lightweight Pants

Heat can be just as miserable to hunt in as cold, and although Forloh has some exceptional cold weather duds, their warm weather options are second to none. One such beast for the early season is their 1000+ UPF rated SolAir Lightweight Pants. Featuring Forloh’s new Brrr Pro cooling technology, it incorporates cooling minerals into the fibers that is cool to the touch and has been proven in lab testing to keep your skin temperature -3.5F +/- cooler during high activity. This technology also expands the wicking properties of the fabric by over 300%, while letting the fabric dry in minutes. As with every piece in Forloh’s warm weather collection, they feature Polygiene Stay Fresh anti-microbial and Odor Crunch scent control systems to help reduce your scent.

Badlands Silens Series

Silence is golden for the bowhunter in the whitetail woods, especially when listening ears are close. Designed to virtually eliminate the slighted noise when it comes to drawing your bow, Badlands introduces their quietest lineup to date, the Silens Series. Behind it all is their extremely quiet, high pile Silens Fleece, up to 120 grams of PrimaLoft Silver Hi-Loft insulation, a wind-resistant lining and an array of pockets, making the collection an ideal mid-to late-season package. With five pieces to choose from (jacket, vest, hoodie, bibs & pants) designed with their versatile Approach camo patterns, the Silens collection is everything you expect from Badlands Gear and more.

ASIO Windproof Sherpa Lines Jacket and Pants

With an ultra-quiet design, ASIO’s Windproof Sherpa Lined Jacket and Pants perform best between temps of 20 to 40 degrees, making them a great option for the mid-season. Their signature grid fleece is bonded to an interior lining of Sherpa fleece for a windproof barrier, while the polyester shell received both an anti-microbial treatment for scent control and DWR treatment to ensure wet elements roll off with ease. The jacket sports Sherpa-lined hand warming pockets and underarm stretch gussets so you can easily draw your bow, while the pants offer heat-dump zippers on the sides, as well as cargo pockets.

Nomad Harvester NXT Jacket

Another duo utilizing the high heat-to-weight ratio of Sherpa-lined fabric is the Harvester NXT Jacket and Pants from Nomad. Windproof and breathable, they are designed with a 4-way stretch fabric that is bonded to a Sherpa high pile interior lining to ensure both warmth and mobility without the bulk. A great mid-season option, they are extremely quiet, water-resistant and feature Sherpa-lined hand warming pockets on the jacket and a stretch crotch gusset and heat-dump leg openings on the pants.

Browning Hydro-Fleece Jacket and Bib

Originally introduced in 1993, Browning’s Hydro-Fleece quickly became popular among hunters because of its quiet qualities. Needless to say, it’s been updated over the years and today’s version proves why it’s still a staple among serious bowhunters. Designed as a great outer garment on cool early season morning or when you need to layer up, the latest Hydro-Fleece Jacket and Bib combo features a soft, water-resistant brushed fleece shell that offers 3-layer waterproof taped seams for added protection from the elements. The jacket sports must-have handwarmer pockets, adjustable hood, and internal storm flap with chin guard. The bibs also feature handwarmer and chest pockets and full-length leg zippers.

ALPS OutdoorZ

ALPS OutdoorZ Shield Jacket

Maker of quality backpacks designed for every type of hunt, ALPS jumps into the technical hunting apparel arena with the new Shield Jacket. Suitable for hunting or everyday wear around deer camp, it couples a polyester shell with a thick Sherpa fleece lining. It’s available as a quarter-zip pullover with a high neck collar to keep out the cold or as a full-zip jacket with an integrated, fleece-lined hood for maximum warmth. Both options include a zippered chest pocket that is ideal for securing a cell phone, rangefinder or other small items, zippered kangaroo pockets, and a ribbed waistband and cuffs. The Sherpa full-zip jacket also includes a windproof/waterproof membrane.

DSG Outerwear

DSG Outerwear Kylie 4.0 3-in-1 Hunting Jacket

DSG Outerwear launches its newest addition to its popular Kylie line of cold-weather apparel for women: the Kylie 4.0 3-in-1 Hunting Jacket and Drop Seat Bib. The jacket features a quiet brushed water- and wind-proof outer shell that is constructed from 100 grams of a thin profile insulation that is paired with a removable fleece lining. It’s also treated with a DWR finish and fully taped seams to sheds water. Complementing the jacket, the Drop Seat Bib easily converts to pants and is constructed from a thin profile, 120-gram insulation which also has a DWR finish and fully taped seams. It even has a drop seat design for quick access when nature calls.

Sitka Gear

Sitka Kelvin Aerolite Jacket

Always upping the ante in performance hunting apparel, Sitka’s Aerolite collection reduces bulk while enhancing warmth, even when Mother Nature decides to let loose. One in the collection is their Kelvin Aerolite Jacket, which is ideal for sitting long hours glassing for game. It utilizes synthetic PrimaLoft Gold Insulation with Cross Core Technology that’s infused with silica Aerogel. Initially developed by NASA and composed of more than 95% air, Aerogel is the lightest solid known to man and it provides thermal insulation while reducing weight. The Cross Core insulation fibers, made with 35% post-consumer content, replicate the performance of down insulation, but with warm-when-wet performance. It also has a 20-D polyester face with a DWR water repellent finish, gusseted stretch cuffs, fitted hood, and deep chest and waist pockets.

Stone Glacier

Stone Glacier Cirque

Another lightweight, packable jacket made for the backcountry is the new Cirque from Stone Glacier. Encompassing heat retention and moisture management in an insulated jacket, it features the tightly woven windproof qualities of a 15 Denier Pertex Face Fabric with 133 g/m of PrimaLoft insulation, making it just enough to keep the edge off while also providing mobility. Use as a sole outer garment or as an insulating layer when Mother Nature decides to unleash, it also features an adjustable articulated hood, articulated fit for mobility, strategically placed hand pockets for use while carrying a pack and must-have pit zippers for cooling off.

Blocker Outdoors

Complementing the Shield Series Drencher Insulated Bib, Blocker Outdoors unveils the Drencher Insulated 3-in-1 Jacket, perhaps the most versatile waterproof solution for today’s hunters. Repelling rain, sleet, and snow while maintaining optimal warmth, stealth, and mobility, it can be worn as a waterproof shell, an insulated vest, or vest and jacket together for the ultimate weatherproof system. It sports a quiet soft polyester brushed tricot fabric shell with RainBlocker waterproof membrane, an adjustable 3-piece hood all infused with Blocker's S3 anti-microbial finish for odor prevention performance.
