Carbon Express® has taken arrow technology to the next level by introducing their Aramid KV™ shafts. A layer of Kevlar®, pound for pound five times stronger than steel, is intricately sandwiched between layers of both hoop strength and straight carbon layers.
The Kevlar makes the shafts 27 percent stronger than the highly popular Maxima Hunter™ shafts, and capable of withstanding impact with a cement block. A new BuffTuff® Plus Diamond Carbon weave in the back third of the shaft makes this the fastest-recovering arrow available. Combine that feature with Built-In Weight Forward technology, and you'll have the tightest groups possible, particularly with broadheads.
The shafts are spine and straightness-selected to a tolerance of .0025 inch and weight variance is +/- 1 grain. The 250s weigh 8.9 gpi; the 350s weigh 9.8 gpi. Both come in Mossy Oak® New Break-Up with Blazer™ vanes, or you can buy raw shafts. Contact: Carbon Express, (810) 733-6360.
