After teaching two sons to bowhunt, I now get to start over with my six-year-old grandson, Carson. I got him a Mini Genesis, and he's already in love with archery. This little bow, camouflaged like Grand-pa's, has no set draw length, so Carson can settle into his anchor without worrying about hitting a wall.
As he gains strength, I simply crank up the weight a little. The Mini Genesis grows as Carson grows. The bow weighs only 2 pounds, has a draw weight of 6 to 12 pounds, and a draw-length range from 14 to 25 inches. A kit comes with arrows, armguard, and quiver.
