If you're in the market for a new folding knife, then take a look at Leatherman's new CraterTM and ExpanseTM series. The 10 models that make up the new lines will replace the company's c, e, k, and h-series knives. Crater knives have a solid black, 60-percent glass-filled nylon handle and a 420HC stainless-steel blade.

Expanse knives have a black and silver handle made of 60-percent glass-filled nylon reinforced with stainless steel and a 154CM steel blade. Both have 2.6-inch blades (33-models) and 3.1-inch blades (55-models) in your choice of straight or straight/serrated combo (an "x" in the model name denotes the combo blade). The 33-models in both series are locking-liner knives with Blade Launcher® quick-deployment technology. The 55-models are lockbacks with thumb-stud deployment. In both series you will find additional features like bit drivers, fixed screwdrivers, bit storage in the handle, and folding carabiners.
