This company's Deluxe Bomber Jacket is a unique foul-weather garment that, in a sense, is wired for comfort. INK-TEX Technology, a printed strip of silver-based ink that conducts electricity, is applied to the garment and then laminated in place. Lithium batteries pulse energy through the ink pattern, which creates heat. Three heat settings (85, 98.7, and 110 degrees) can be controlled from inside a pocket. Rechargeable batteries last from 2 hours on high to 4.5 hours on low. Recharging takes five hours.
The Deluxe Bomber Jacket also features a waterproof, breathable laminate coating, antibacterial lining to reduce scent, and a removable hood. It can be machine washed once you remove the control units. Bibs, vest, hat, socks, and gloves are also available.
