Thinking "outside the box" is an overused cliché, but it's difficult to come up with a proper substitute when looking at APA Innovations' bows. Riser design is the first indication you aren't looking at a regular bow. A carry handle is machined into each riser, as is a Fang hook for hanging your bow on a limb. Along with the unique look, APA bows are built for speed.
New for this year is the Pit Viper ($819), APA's shortest bow at 31.25". The past-parallel limb design combines with a short brace height of 6.63" to move arrows along at speeds up to 333 fps. The draw stop on the Venom V2 Cam is also adjustable. If you need more speed, the 34" King Cobra ($849), with Black Mamba dual cams and a 5.13" brace height, is APA's fastest bow with speeds up to 362 fps. APA has four dual-cam and three single-cam models.
