The technology packed into the 32.25" single-cam Pantera ($579) is impressive. Martin's new Acu-Trak Cam system smoothly delivers arrow speeds of 315-320 fps. The Pantera comes with the CCS Cable Containment System, Shock Terminator Suppressor, and V.E.M. noise and vibration dampening built into the riser. The new ROTO Limb Cup design anchors the 4X CoreFlex Limbs (Martin's best), and the arrow shelf features an integrated V.E.M. Silencing Arrow Shelf, which eliminates the need to silence it with fleece. The Pantera has a 7.25" brace height and weighs in at a scant 3.5 lbs.
If you seek maximum arrow speed, Martin's Warthog Mag ($749) combines a 6.25" brace height and the CAT 2 Hybrid Duo Cam to produce 350 fps. The Firecat-TR2 ($619) is right behind with a 7" brace height and up to 345 fps. I count at least 12 compound models available at Martin Archery, as well as any accessory you can imagine.
