The X6c ($149.99) is a new compact 6.0-megapixel trail camera from Wildgame Innovations. The infrared flash and PIR sensor have a range of 40'. Daytime stills and 30-second video clips are in color; nighttime photos and video are black and white. Each captured image is stamped with time, date, temperature, and camera location.
Customizing its preprogrammed settings is extremely easy to do, even without reading the instruction manual. The 2" LCD screen inside the camera is bright-blue, making it easy to see. It has a 64MB built-in memory and will accept up to an 8GB SD card. It operates for weeks on eight AA batteries and comes with adjustable bungee cords for mounting, a USBV cable, driver, and an instructional CD.
