Saddle hunting continues to show no sign of slowing down, and the new products to hit the market this year prove it.

Trophyline Venatic & HyperLite Climbing Sticks / Platform

Combining quality and comfort in a 20-ounce package, Trophyline’s Venatic is one of the lightest saddles in the industry. Everything you’d expect from the godfather of the tree saddle, Trophyline removed the bulky straps from past saddles and replaced them with narrower ones, while also incorporating an ultralight ripstop fabric. For 2024, the Venatic is now offered in First Lite’s Specter camo in a 90/10 blended Nylon/Spandex fabric, making that option ultralight and durable as well. All models feature adjustable Raptor waist and leg strap buckles, a rubberized waistband to reduce slip when walking, and with the rigid rubber Molle band, plus two additional Molle bands at the top and bottom. Rounding out the Venatic is a 33” adjustable 3/8” bridge rope and Prusik and black Dismond Carabiner.

Taking weight and mobility to the next level, Trophyline also launched the new HyperLite Climbing Sticks and Platform. Made from Magnite, which is 35% lighter than aluminum, yet 22% stronger, a set of four 16-inch double step sticks come in at just 4.4 pounds, and with their FlatStack Design, they securely stack in a very packable packing. The 12”x12” platform is around 2 pounds and is made with the same groundbreaking material. It’s also designed to fit with the sticks for easy packing, and with a total weight hovering around 6 pounds, the HyperLite collection is sure to be a favorite among the Trophyline faithful.

Tethrd GRIT Collection

Tethrd needs no introduction in the saddle hunting community, and the latest addition to the Tethrd Nation is the new GRIT collection. Dubbed the Workhorse Saddle Hunting Kit, it bridges the gap between quality and affordability to provide the retail user with everything they need in a single package. Feature-rich, the Workhorse comes wrapped in Tethrd’s proprietary WhisprTuff fabric and is complemented with a pair of integrated pockets to store the essentials. Cruzr XC

Cruzr is no stranger to the saddle hunting space and their XC is a rock-solid option if you’re looking to save some Greenbacks.
